1950’s Bing & Grondahl ‘Baby Sparrow’ Figurine

This cute, 1950’s hand painted porcelain figurine of a young sparrow screeching for food, was made in Denmark by the ‘Bing & Grondahl’ (B&G) factory, who later merged with the ‘Royal Copenhagen’ factory in 1987. The figurine is in excellent condition and carries the blue and green factory backstamps along with the model number ‘1852’. It measures 8,5cm x 6,5cm with a height of 7cm.
