1950’s Bing & Grondahl ‘Children Reading’ Figurine
This early, small, adorable hand painted porcelain figurine depicts a young boy and girl seated close together, with their arms around each other reading from a large open book. It was made around the 1950/60’s in Denmark by the ‘Bing & Grondahl’ (B&G) factory, who later merged with the ‘Royal Copenhagen’ factory in 1987. The figurine is in excellent condition and carries the blue and green factory backstamps and the model number ‘1567’. It measures 9,5cm x 9,5cm with a height of 10cm.
