Antique Art Nouveau ‘Majolica’ Plate

This beautiful Majolica plate is decorated with 3 white water lilies on a blue background in typical Art Nouveau style. According to my research it was made in Germany by ‘Georg Schmider Zell Potteries’ and dates to the early 1900’s. It has the number ‘2474’ impressed on the back and other than a small paint chip on the rear edge of the plate and a couple of very minor rough edges on the foot of the plate, it is in excellent condition.
