Antique Brass ‘Tea Kettle on Stand’ (W.S.&S)

This lovely, antique, solid brass, English tea kettle on stand comes complete with its burner and dates to the early 1900’s. The kettle was made in Birmingham by ‘William Souter & Sons’ and is stamped on the base with the factory trademark letters ‘SW & S’ in a circle. The kettle has a lovely, turned, dark wooden secure handle with a snug fitting lid, and other than normal wear & tear it is in great condition with a beautiful, aged patina. It stands 30cm high on its stand, measures 22cm x 20cm and together, the set weighs 1,3kg.
