Antique Cased Carving Set (1917)

This super, three-piece carving set from the early 1900’s is presented in its original fitted blue velvet and silk lined case. The imitation bone handles have a lovely art deco shape and are fitted with solid silver collars, which are English hallmarked for Sheffield 1917 and stamped with a makers mark ‘GB’. Although the set shows signs of usage, it’s in great condition. The knife measures 50cm, the fork 26cm and the steel 29cm. The case measures 40cm x 12cm x 4cm and together the set and case weighs 835g.
