Antique Cast Iron ‘Mr. Punch’ Tobacco Jar

This very early, heavy, cast-iron tobacco jar and lid is in excellent condition, with well-defined features and probably dates to the late 1800’s. The jar is in the form of ‘Mr. Punch’, a puppet character with a large nose from the ‘Punch and Judy’ show, with his hat forming the lid. This unusual tobacco jar measures 8,5cm x 12cm, stands 13,5cm high and weighs 1135g.
