Antique French Bevelled Glass P/Watch Holder

This lovely, French antique, lady’s pocket watch holder/case features a gilt metal and thick, bevelled glass frame with a hinged, rectangular bevelled glass door, standing on four brass feet. It was originally used to store and hang a lady’s pocket watch from a small hook near the top, where you could now hang a pendant. This unusual box is in good condition with its original purple felt interior and was probably made around the late 1800’s or early 1900’s in France. It measures 7cm x 5cm, stands 11cm high and weighs 250g.
