Antique ‘Holly & Berry’ Blue Carnival Glass Bowl

This attractive carnival glass bowl from the early 1900’s, has a wonderful iridescent dark blue colour. The bowl has flared ruffled sides with a scalloped rim and a lovely embossed ‘holly and berry’ pattern around the inside. It was made in America by the ‘Fenton Art Glass’ company, somewhere between 1907 and the late 1920’s. The company re-started making carnival glass again in the 1970’s and all the modern pieces carry a factory mark. This super bowl is in lovely condition and measures 21,5cm in diameter, stands 6,7cm high and weighs 570g.
