Antique Japanese ‘Ginbari – Goldfish’ Cloisonne Vase

This wonderful, small, antique, ‘Ginbari’ cloisonne enamel vase from the Meiji Period (1868-1912), possibly made by ‘Ota Toshiro’, is in excellent condition. It is beautifully decorated with red goldfish swimming amongst seaweed against a green and orange enamelled background, with a silvered metal rim and base. This lovely vase stands 9cm high with a width of 6,5cm at its widest and weighs 190g.
