Antique Miniature Solid Silver Novelty ‘Pepperette’ (1904)

This charming sterling silver novelty miniature ‘pepperette’ in the form of a milk churn with two handles is in excellent condition. It has a snug fitting pierced pull out lid, and both the lid and base have been English hallmarked for Birmingham 1904. There’s also a mark ‘W.V.& S’ for silversmiths ‘William Vale & Son’. The miniature stands 3,4cm, with a base diameter of 2cm.
