Antique Silver Gilt & Enamel ‘Lodge of Natal’ Masonic Medal

This beautifully enamelled and heavy sterling silver masonic medal has the wording ‘DISTRICT GRAND LODGE OF NATAL’ in blue enamel surrounding a painted enamel plaque in the centre. It is English hallmarked, on the back, for Birmingham 1908 and ‘R.S.’ for ‘Spencer & Co.’ It is also stamped ‘SPENCER LONDON’ in 2 places. The medal and enamel work are in perfect condition and it still has the original gilding. It measures 9.5cm x 3.8cm and weighs 31.2g.
