Antique Silver-Plated Entrée Dish & Cover
This elegant, super quality, silver-plated entrée dish and cover from the early 1900’s has a lovely weight and is in excellent condition. It is rectangular in shape with stylish gadroon borders and has a removable twist-off handle, which enables the lid to be used as a further serving dish if required. The set was made in Sheffield, England by makers ‘Creswick & Co’, and is impressed with their trademark ‘eight crossed arrows’, as well as ‘EPNS A1’ and the number ‘23258’. The entrée dish and cover measures 26cm x 18,7cm, stands 11cm high (7cm without the handle) and weighs 1160g.
