Early Large 9ct Gold Cameo Brooch or Pendant

This large, beautifully carved, vintage cameo of a young lady is set in an oval 9ct yellow gold frame, with a simple beaded edge. The cameo from the 1940/50’s, is hand carved out of a cornelian seashell in amazing detail and can be either worn as a pendant or a brooch. The cameo is in excellent condition, with a secure pin and roll over clasp and has been tested by my jeweller and confirmed as 9ct gold. It measures 6,2cm x 4,8cm and weighs 21g.

This lovely cameo brooch comes with a detailed valuation, with a replacement value of R24 960.00, a copy of which is listed. (The valuation was done by a very reputable, independent jeweller).
