Early Art Deco ‘Clarice Cliff’ Lily Pad Flower Bowl/Vase (C1936)

This wonderful, late 1930’s Clarice Cliff Pottery bowl has been modelled as a large, open lily pad flower, with leaves and buds moulded to the water coloured base. It has been hand painted in bright pastel colours and is in excellent condition. It is signed ‘Clarice Cliff’ and stamped ‘NEWPORT POTTERY ENGLAND’ in green, with the ‘973’ mould number. It is oval in shape and measures 22.5cm in length, 18cm in width, 12cm in height and weighs 1155g.
