Early Crown Staffordshire ‘J.T. Jones’ Kingfisher Figure

This beautiful, bone china figure of a kingfisher on a branch, hanging over a lily pond was manufactured by the well-known Crown Staffordshire factory in England. It was designed and modelled by ‘J.T. JONES’ and signed as such, on the base. J.T. (Jack) Jones was born in 1898 and joined Crown Staffordshire at the age of 13. He was the Art Director for over 30 years and worked for the company for 47 years. The figure is beautifully hand painted in authentic colours. Other than 3 very minor chips to the petals it is excellent condition. It measures 18cm in length, 8cm in width and 12cm in height.
