Early Moorcroft ‘Clematis’ Vase (C.1930/40’s)

This lovely, early, squat shaped ‘William Moorcroft’ vase is beautifully decorated and tube-lined in the colourful ‘Clematis’ pattern against a mottled blue background. The vase is in excellent condition with lovely colours and free of crazing. It has the impressed signature in blue with the words ‘POTTER TO HM THE QUEEN’ along with the original round paper label. The vase stands 10cm high with a diameter of 13cm at its widest and weighs 535g.
