Early ‘Salviati’ Venetian & ‘Moser’ Ruby Red Glass Dish

This delicately, hand decorated ruby red glass plate or dish, from the early 1900’s, was probably manufactured by the well-known Venetian glass works ‘Salviati & Co.’ in Italy. It has been beautifully decorated with enamel painted garlands and roses around the edge and a lady in Victorian dress in the centre, with applied ‘Graffito’ (gold foil) by ‘Ludwig Moser & Sons’ of Karlsbad, Bohemia. It is in excellent condition and measures 19.3cm in diameter and weighs 235g.
