Fine Quality Antique Silver-Plated Ice Bucket (Daniel & Arter)

This handsome, superior quality, silver-plated ice bucket or champagne cooler from the early 1900’s was made in England by ‘Daniel & Arter’, a renowned Birmingham silversmith and electro-plater. It is in the form of a traditional bucket or pail, with a swing handle and comes complete with its interior water drainer. Other than some very minor wear to the interior, it’s in excellent condition and is probably the best quality, plated ice bucket I’ve come across. The base is stamped with the makers full name ‘DANIEL & ARTER’ ‘EPNS’. It stands 15cm high (27cm with handle), has a base diameter of 13,5cm, a top diameter of 15,5cm and weighs 1135g.
