Large Crown Devon Musical Jug (Killarney)

This large, beautiful Crown Devon Musical jug has a lovely shape with a large spout and features, in relief, a pretty, hand-painted Irish country scene (In and around The Killarney National Park) with an Irish jaunting car in front of a small lake with cottages and castle gates around the top. On the other side of the jug are the words to the classic Irish song: ‘KILLARNEY’

The jug has a wind-up mechanism in the base, and when picked up, plays the musical tune to the above song, Killarney. It is also stamped ‘CROWN DEVON FIELDINGS, MADE IN ENGLAND’ on the base. The jug is in excellent condition and the musical mechanism works well. It stands 20cm high, with a spout to handle measurement of 18cm and it weighs 1075g.
