Large German Silver Modernist Pendant (Rodi & Wienerberger)

This fabulous, scarce, large, solid silver modernist pendant was made during the 1940/50’s by ‘Rodi & Wiennerberger’ (ROWI), a prominent German jewellery manufacturer founded in 1885 by ‘Eugen Rodi and Wilhelm Wienerberger’ in Pforzheim. The pendant has an attractive pear shape, set with a large round green stone in the centre, with an engraved ‘brush stroke’ pattern below and is stamped on the back by the makers, along with a sterling silver mark. It’s in great condition and measures 7,8cm x 3,7cm and weighs 18g.
