Large Royal Doulton ‘Under the Greenwood Tree’ Charger

This lovely, colourful, extra-large Royal Doulton wall plate or charger from ‘Under the Greenwood Tree’ (Robin Hood) series, features Friar Tuck, Robin Hood, and his merry men under a large tree, with a dark-green border. It was probably made around the 1940/50’s and carries the special ‘Under the Greenwood Tree’ backstamp along with the ‘Royal Doulton’ stamp and ‘D6094’ pattern number. This attractive large plate measures 34,5cm in diameter, weighs 1630g and has three small, factory-made holes on the back to help when hanging.
