Large William Moorcroft ‘Leaf & Berry’ Globe Vase (1930’s)

This fabulous, large, impressive globular shaped, ‘William Moorcroft’ pottery vase from the 1930’s, is beautifully decorated in the colourful ‘Leaf and Berry’ pattern against a cobalt blue background. It has a wonderful shape with tube-lined decoration and is hand painted with bright autumn leaves and berries under a vibrant glaze. This impressive vase is in excellent condition with no crazing and is a fine example of this beautiful pattern. The base has the impressed and script ‘Moorcroft’ signatures, along with ‘POTTERS TO H.M. THE QUEEN’ & ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’, all in blue. The vase stands 21cm high, with a diameter of 21cm at its widest and weighs 1,9kg.
