Lovely 1930/40’s ‘Maling’ Plate with Butterfly’s

This early, hand-painted ‘Maling’ pottery plate from the 1930/40’s, is decorated in bright colours, with lovely tube-lining work giving it an unusual finish. It features orange and yellow Delphinium flowers with two similar coloured butterflies against a soft yellow background. This beautiful plate is in excellent condition and carry’s the black ‘MALING’ backstamp with ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ impressed on the back. It measures 28,5cm in diameter.
