Lovely Antique ‘Copeland Spode’ Teacup & Saucer

Sold!

This lovely, very early, Copeland Spode china teacup and saucer, from the late 1800’s, is beautifully hand-painted, featuring birds and flowers against a cobalt blue background, with lots of gold decoration to both pieces. The teacup has the early Copeland china ‘seal mark’ that was used in 1893, and the saucer has an early impressed mark ‘F’ over ‘84’, dating this to ‘February 1884’. Other than some minor wear in places, to the gilding, this duo is in great condition. The cup stands 5,8cm high, with the saucer having a diameter of 14,4cm.
