Lovely Antique Scottish Silver Brooch

This wonderful, early, sterling silver Scottish brooch has been beautifully made with various coloured stones and settings. There is a large orange stone (possibly synthetic), set in a ‘crown’ style setting in the middle, surrounded by six natural stones in round, raised settings, with natural jasper/agate stones in-between. The silver areas in-between the stones have been beautifully engraved with Celtic style patterns. This lovely Scottish brooch is in excellent condition with a secure pin, and although there are silver marks, it has been tested by my jeweller as sterling silver. It has a rough diameter of 5,5cm and weighs 25,3g.
