Lovely, Early ‘Mother of Pearl’ Inlaid Jewellery Box

This superb, early, small, very well-made jewellery box is entirely decorated with ‘mother of pearl’ pieces, some of which have beautiful cut-out or pierced patterns. It is rectangular in shape with a domed hinged lid, which clips shut, and its interior is lined with a red felt. This lovely box is in excellent condition and would be ideal for jewellery or trinkets on a dressing table. It measures 12,3cm x 8cm, stands 5cm high and weighs 207g.
