Lovely Pair of ‘Poole Pottery’ Dolphin Figures

This lovely, early pair of glazed ceramic ‘leaping dolphins’, one bigger than the other, were made in the 1970’s by the ‘Poole Pottery’ factory in England. They depict a large and small dolphin on the crest of a wave, in blue and black colours with a lovely glaze, and both carry the ‘POOLE ENGLAND’ backstamps on their bases. Both figures are in excellent condition, with the large one measuring 27cm x 8cm and standing 18,5cm high, and the smaller one measuring 21cm x 6,5cm and standing 14,5cm high, and together weighing 840g.
