Pre-loved 18ct Gold, Diamond and Enamel ‘Sweetheart’ Brooch/Pendant

This exquisitely made, highly collectable ‘Sweetheart’ brooch/pendant, manufactured from 18ct yellow and white gold, is set with 116 ‘old cut’ diamonds = 0.58ct J/K – SI and inlaid with blue enamel. It is inscribed with the French maxim – ‘HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE’, which when translated means, ‘MAY HE BE SHAMED WHO THINKS BADLY OF IT’. The brooch is modelled in the form of the cap badge of the Worcestershire Regiment. It is in excellent condition and measures 2.5cm in diameter and weighs 5.7g.
