Rare ‘Arts & Crafts’ Pewter & Ruskin Cabochon Box

This wonderful, rare, antique, hammered ‘Arts & Crafts’ pewter box is beautifully hand-made with an ‘Archibald Knox’ influenced design, and was probably made around the turn of the century. It has an unusual shape with numerous copper rivets and a small, ridged copper panel in the front, a wide edged flat base with a lovely, hinged lid, featuring a mottled green ‘Ruskin Pottery’ cabochon insert. This special piece is in great condition and measures 10cm x 7,5cm, stands 3,5cm high and weighs 330g.
