Rare ‘Caithness’ Glass ‘Thrift’ Paperweight (Ltd Edition of 250)

This scarce, beautiful, round ‘Caithness’ glass paperweight with facets is titled ‘Thrift’ and was made for the ‘Royal Mint’ in a limited edition of only 250, this one being number ‘124’. It was made in Scotland by the well-known ‘Caithness Glass’ factory and features three pink protea flowers with green stems against a deep blue ground base. This attractive paperweight is in excellent condition and is engraved on the base ‘Caithness – Scotland – Thrift – Royal Mint – 124/250’. It stands 4,5cm high, with a diameter of 7cm and weighs 349g.
