Rare ‘Liberty & Co’ (CYMRIC) Silver & Enamel Napkin Ring (Archibald Knox)

This fabulous, rare, antique solid silver and enamelled Arts & Crafts ‘CYMRIC’ napkin ring was designed by ‘Archibald Knox’ (1864-1933) for the ‘CYMRIC’ range at ‘Liberty & Co.’. It is decorated in relief with two beautiful art nouveau panels featuring water lilies enhanced with blue and green enamels. Other than some minor enamel loss, this wonderful napkin ring is in great condition and is stamped on the side with the following hallmarks ‘L&Co’, ‘CYMRIC’, a model number ‘5305’ and the British hallmarks for ‘Birmingham 1904’, plus a personal engraving with the letters ‘A.E.H.’ The napkin ring measures 3,8cm with a diameter of 5cm and weighs 36,5g.
