Rare Victorian Copper & Brass ‘Sykes’ Powder Flask

This original, rare powder flask has a pear-shaped copper body with a brass screw off top and a rare, very seldom seen, brass, sloping, three setting adjustable nozzle. The side of the nozzle is stamped ‘SYKES’ and the base of the nozzle is stamped ‘SYKES PATENT.’ The flask is in relatively good condition with some minor dents to the body. It measures 20cm in length, 8cm at its widest, with a thickness of 4cm and weighs 275g.
