Royal Doulton ‘The Gleaners’ Clover Leaf Dish (D6123)

This lovely, 1940’s, Royal Doulton dish from the ‘Old English Scenes’ series ‘The Gleaners’, was designed by ‘S. Wilson’ and features a colourful country scene of a woman and children gathering corn, bordered with a dark green trim. It has an unusual, attractive, oval clover leaf shape and measures 24cm x 18cm with a height of 4cm. The dish or snack tray is in excellent condition and carries the Royal Doulton backstamp along with the special ‘Gleaners’ mark and pattern number ‘D6123’ on the back.
