This fabulous, very early, art nouveau silver-plated pewter ‘WMF’ wall plaque was made in Germany between 1900 and 1910 by the sort after ‘WMF’ factory (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik). It’s beautifully decorated in relief featuring a young boy with a feather in his hat, holding a rooster with thorn flowers around his feet. This superb piece is in great condition with lovely detail and has a small hanging loop on the back as well as the model number ‘333A’, along with the impressed factory marks ‘WMF’ ‘EP’ ‘OX’. The plaque measures 23cm x 17,5cm and weighs 285g.
