Six Quality ‘Webb’ Crystal Sherry Glasses

This wonderful set of six matching, fine quality ‘Webb’ crystal sherry or port glasses have a lovely, elegant shape with a beautifully hand-cut ‘criss-cross’ pattern with a ‘star-cut’ base. The crystal glasses date to the 1950/60’s, are in excellent condition with a nice weight and each one is stamped on the base with the acid etched ‘Webb, England’ company logo. Each glass stands 12,5cm high with a top diameter of 5,5cm and together they weigh 800g.

Note: ‘Thomas Webb & Sons’ crystal were renowned for their quality and started manufacturing in England around the 1840’s until they were eventually bought out in 1964 by ‘Crown House Ltd’, which in turn closed in 1990. Over the years, numerous different company logos were used on the bases of their crystal, the logo on these glasses was used between 1950 and 1966.
