Solid Silver & Enamel ‘R.A.O.B.’ Medal (Earl of Athlone Lodge)

This lovely quality, sterling silver ‘Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffalos’ (R.A.O.B) medal or jewel for the ‘EARL of ATHLONE LODGE No.6639’ is beautifully made and enamelled in relief. It was presented and engraved on the back to ‘BRO. J. BESTER’ ‘FOR SERVICES RENDERED in 1966’. The medal has a good weight and was made in 1965 by silversmiths ‘F.C. Parry Ltd’ (FCP) in Birmingham, England. It is in excellent condition, complete with original ribbon and measures 12,5cm x 4cm and weighs 33,1g.
