Unusual ‘Arts & Crafts’ Tea Caddy
This lovely, unusual, fine quality silver-plated ‘Arts & Crafts’ tea caddy from the early 1900’s has an oval form, and is decorated with four dark blue, round cabochon-cut, semi-precious (possibly Lapis Lazuli) stones, around the sides with one on the lid. The tea caddy appears to be plated on brass giving it a good weight and other than very minor wear to the base, due to age, it’s in great condition with an airtight lid. It stands 8,8cm high, measures 12,5cm x 10cm and weighs 342g.
