Victorian Amber Cut-Crystal Perfume Bottle

This stunning, heavy, antique, amber ‘cut-to-clear’, cut-crystal scent bottle with matching stopper has a wonderful shape with eight scalloped panels around the middle, and is beautifully decorated with various, deep hand-cut patterns, including raised ‘heart’ shaped amber designs around the base and stopper. The base of the stopper appears to have had a very early and professional repair which is hardly noticeable, and other than a tiny chip to the base, it’s in excellent condition with a snug fitting stopper. This impressive piece probably dates to the late 1800’s and stands 17,5cm (incl. stopper), measures 10cm at its widest and weighs 515g.
