Victorian Silver & Gold Sweetheart Brooch (1889)

This lovely quality, antique, sterling silver, floral sweetheart brooch from the late 1800’s, is beautifully decorated and engraved, featuring a rose-gold fancy border and flower with yellow gold leaves, which is bordered by a wide, circular, engine turned engraving with a beaded edge. There’s a personnel hand engraved name and date on the back ‘1889 Miss. Mary McDonald’, who was probably the original owner. This fabulous brooch is in great condition with a secure pin and measures 3,6cm in diameter, with a weight of 6g.
