Victorian Silver & Gold Vesta Case (1897)

This fine quality, superb, antique silver & 9ct gold vesta case has a lovely, rectangular cushion shape with a sprung hinged lid. It is decorated with 9ct gold corners along with a 9ct gold, shield shaped blank cartouche in the centre. It was made in 1897 in Birmingham, England by silversmiths ‘Thomas Acott & Co’ (TA & Co). This lovely case is in great condition with nice clear hallmarks and measures 4cm x 3,5cm x 1,3cm  and weighs 20g.
