Victorian Silver Locket Brooch (1883)

This lovely, antique, sterling silver, English hallmarked locket brooch is beautifully decorated with raised flowers amongst engraved leaves, surrounded by an ornate beaded border. It was made in Chester, England in 1883 by silversmiths ‘Frank Banks’ (F.B) and has a locket compartment at the back for a sentimental keepsake, like a photograph or lock of hair. The brooch is in great condition with clear hallmarks and a secure pin. It measures 3.5cm in diameter and weighs 7,2g.
