Victorian Silver ‘P.O.W. / Trench Art’ Lord’s Prayer Pin (1882)

This amazing silver coin pin has been made from what looks like a silver Victorian tickey. One side of the coin has been totally removed and the full ‘Lord’s Prayer’ has been beautifully engraved into it. It’s hard to believe that this was done by hand +- 140 years ago. The writing is so small that you need to use a magnifying glass to read it. Other than the prayer its signed ‘WALTER I. PHILLIPS’ ‘SEPT. 1882.’ It measures 8cm in length with a coin diameter of 1.6cm.
