Vintage Scottish Silver ‘Luckenbooth’ Pendant & Chain

This fabulous, vintage, Scottish, solid silver and Caithness glass ‘millefiori’ pendant with an Italian silver necklace is in excellent condition. The pendant, better known as a ‘Luckenbooth’, a traditional Scottish love token, features a heart with a crown above and a round, domed Caithness glass ‘millefiori’ stone in the centre. The pendant, a quality piece with a nice weight, was made in Edinburgh in 1973 by ‘Caithness Jewellery’ (C.J), and hangs on a lovely, Italian sterling silver ‘anchor’ link chain. The pendant measures 38mm x 36mm, the chain measures 64cm with a width of 2mm, and together they weigh of 17,8g.
