We started trading at antique fairs in 1989 and opened our first store in 1991. After 28 magic years of meeting wonderful people and making life-long friends, we decided to take a break from full time, 7 day week retail and sold our business. A couple of months later we decided to go the online route with our new internet store. We have an excellent reputation, which is vitally important to us and our customers are our number one priority. We understand that purchasing an item over the internet is still a relatively new experience for most people and ‘not holding it in your hand’ is of the greatest concern. Needless to say we guarantee the authenticity of all our items by describing them as accurately as possible and by providing good, clear photographs of each item. All our jewellery is checked by a reputable jeweller in regards to condition (claws, catches, pins etc.) as well as cleaned and polished before listing. Most of our more expensive jewellery items are sold with a reputable, independent jeweller’s valuation certificate. Sold items are very carefully packaged. Jewellery will be sent to you in a presentable box, if you would like it gift wrapped for a special occasion please let us know. We encourage your questions and strive to offer the very best in customer service. Buying on the internet should be just as much fun as buying in a store. We want you to be absolutely happy with your purchase from us, so if you don’t love it for any reason, please let us know. We add new items to our site, on a weekly basis, so please add us to your favourite sellers to check up on our recent finds.

Keepsakes gladly accepts orders from all around the world. Please note, unfortunately, our check-out platform is only set up to accept purchases that are shipped within South Africa, as our delivery costs are reasonably standard and are automatically added when an order is placed.
