1940/50’s English Copper & Brass Ice Bucket
This good quality, early copper and brass ice bucket with tin inner, was made in Birmingham, England around the 1940/50’s by ‘Linton Metalware’. It has a lovely copper barrel shape, with brass strapping or rings, held in place with copper rivets, topped with a copper lid with a brass knob and fitted with a cast iron swing handle. The ice bucket is in great condition with a lovely, rich polished copper colour and is stamped ‘Trade Mark, LINTON, Made in England’ in a rectangle, on the base. It stands 14cm high (19cm with handle), measures 14,5cm at its widest and weighs 570g.
