1940’s Bing & Grondahl ‘Sailboat’ Vase

This early, attractive, porcelain vase has a pretty shape and is hand painted with a white sailboat against the traditional soft blue and cream background. It was made around the 1940’s in Denmark by the ‘Bing & Grondahl’ (B&G) factory, who later merged with the ‘Royal Copenhagen’ factory in 1987. The vase is in excellent condition and carries the blue and green factory backstamps and the model number ‘8625-364’. It stands 11cm high with a diameter of 8cm at its widest.
