9ct Gold & Opal Art Nouveau Necklace

This elegant, early 1900’s, 9ct gold art nouveau necklace with three dangling drops, features eight round cabochon opals, all beautifully set. It’s in excellent condition with a secure push-in tube clasp and on the back of the central drop, there’s a maker’s stamp ‘C F’ along with ‘9 CT’. The necklace measures 43cm in length (47cm with drop).

The ring comes with a detailed valuation, with a replacement of R23 200, a copy of which is listed in the photographs. (The valuation was done by a very reputable Gemmologist but doesn’t take antiquity and rarity into consideration).
