Antique 18ct Gold & Diamond Trilogy Ring

This lovely, antique, 18ct gold and diamond trilogy ring from the early 1900’s is in wonderful condition and consists of three, claw set, natural old European cut diamonds (0,84ct) in a row with the larger stone in the centre. This setting, referred to as a trilogy setting, is a classic and timeless design symbolising the past, present and future, with the larger central stone symbolising the future. These rings were often given on a special occasion, like an engagement or on an anniversary.

The ring comes with a detailed valuation, with a replacement of R70 000, a copy of which is listed in the photographs. (The valuation was done by a very reputable Gemmologist but doesn’t take antiquity and rarity into consideration).
