Antique 9ct Gold & Garnet Necklace

This fabulous, early 1900’s, 9ct gold antique necklace is beautifully made, featuring two ribbon bow drops, with a larger double ribbon bow in the middle. There’s five, round garnets along the top and a dangling pear-shaped garnet on the bottom of each bow (= 2,52ct).  This lovely necklace is in excellent condition with a secure sprung ring clasp and on the back of the central ribbon, there’s a maker’s stamp ‘C F’ along with ‘9 CT’. The necklace measures 41cm in length (44,5cm with drop).

The ring comes with a detailed valuation, with a replacement of R23 500, a copy of which is listed in the photographs. (The valuation was done by a very reputable Gemmologist but doesn’t take antiquity and rarity into consideration).
