Antique Bohemian Ruby Red Crystal Perfume Bottle

This outstanding, great quality, antique Bohemian ruby red, cut to clear crystal scent bottle with stopper, probably dates to the late 1800’s and is in pristine condition. It has a wonderful round squat shape with fourteen scalloped, deep cut panels around the centre, and the most amazing, engraved or etched grape motifs (bunches of grapes, vines and leaves) above and below. The shoulder, neck and stopper have similar scalloped cut panels, with the base and top of stopper having a star-cut finish. This is honestly one of the nicest early scent bottles I’ve come across, and it has everything going for it. Great shape, amazing detail and decoration, lovely age, and in great condition. The perfume bottle stands 10cm high, with a 7,5cm diameter at its widest and weighs 230g.
